Arts, Shopping & Dining at Jazzin' on Jefferson
Each year, Jazzin´ on Jefferson
features numerous artists and vendors selling their wares during the festival.
In 2007, over 35 fine artists and merchants set up shop along Jefferson Avenue and
did a brisk business from noon till night. With over 15,000 patrons from across
the metro area expected, Jazzin’ on Jefferson 2008 promises to be a lucrative
and exciting venue.
NEW IN 2008 – Artist Gallery Tent: The Jazzin on Jefferson Gallery is dedicated to presenting
works of talented local artists and crafts people. We attempt to simplify every part of your participation.
Tables or hanging panels are provided; bring just your artwork and any displays or cases. For more
information, please download the artist gallery application located here.
Merchant & Food Vendors: We invite those merchants with exciting items and
delectable dishes to participate in JOJ 2008! Please download the
merchant & food vendor application for more information.
Area Developers & Non-Profits: In 2008, JOJ will showcase the new developments
that have taken place across the lower east side of Detroit. In addition, we would like to
showcase the non-profits that are working to make our city and region a better place to live,
work and play. 2008 rates still being determined, check back soon for more info.

New this year, thanks to our friends at Recycle Detroit, we will have receptacles to drop off recyclables so don’t throw out that plastic bottle! Instead, look for the RecycleDetroit tent and their bins. Let’s reduce our waste and make Jazzin’ On Jefferson a more sustainable event.
