Arrival Times
Vendor Check in begins at 8am on Saturday June 28th.
Check In
Artist and Vendor Check-in will be at JEBA´s Office (14628 E. Jefferson, Detroit MI 48215)
directly across the street from the vendor/artist parking area.
Vendor/Artist Parking
Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the Jefferson Carwash (NE corner of Jefferson & Phillip).
You are asked to approach the lot from the North via Phillip Street. Entrance to the lot is off
Jefferson. Up until 9:30am, you will be able to access the lot via Jefferson by entering from either
of the Festival. Please download vendor/artist directions here.

Use the Chalmers/Outer Drive marked exit of I-94 (Ford
Freeway) Take Chalmers south to the Jefferson/Chalmers
Parking Lot. Jazzin on Jefferson is 7 miles from
downtown Detroit via East Jefferson Avenue. Allow 30 to
40 minutes drive from most suburban areas via expressways.
Restrooms
No indoor public restrooms will be available at Jazzin
on Jefferson. We encourage visitors/vendors/volunteers
to use outdoor portajohns.
Food Vendor Information
There will be a mandatory meeting hosted by the Department
of Health and Wellness Promotion for all participating
food vendors. This date will be announced to confirmed
vendors prior to the festival.
Additionally, all food service workers are required by
the City of Detroit to obtain a food handler permit. Permits
may be obtained by attending a Food Handler Education
Class (FHEC) held at the Herman Kiefer Health Complex.
FHEC are scheduled Mondays, Wednesdays, and
Fridays @ 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and
1:30 p.m.
Vendors are expected to be fully set up one hour before
festival opening.
Health inspections will begin at 10am June 28th, 2008.
